I am just getting started with 3D printing, but I have a long-term goal of learning how to print my own knitting looms. I am beginning by using Scratch to make a geometric design that might prove useful to create a coffee coaster.

I am exploring Tinkercad as a promising way to begin. Anything designed for kids is sure to be fun!

The The Makerspace at UVa Scholar’s Lab offers 3D printing workshops and is open to everyone. Thanks, University of Virginia Library!
